8. Free Website Health Checker

When you use our free Website Health Checker:

Running the check: Your scores are worked out in your browser. To run the tests, the website address you enter is sent to Google’s PageSpeed Insights service, and your domain name is looked up using Google’s public DNS service. The trade, town and business email boxes are optional and are only used in your browser for the checks. We do not receive or store any of this unless you ask for the full report.
Asking for the full report: We collect your name, business name, email, mobile or WhatsApp number, website address and results, and use them to send your report. We do this because you asked for it (legitimate interests).
Optional extras: If you tick the boxes, we will call you about your results, or send you tips and offers by email, WhatsApp or text. We only do this with your consent, and we keep a record of what you agreed to and when. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Where it is kept: Your details are saved to a private Google Sheet that only we can access, using Google Apps Script. Google may process data outside the UK, protected by UK-approved safeguards. We never sell your details.
How long we keep it: Up to 12 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client or ask us to delete it sooner.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
Request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten")
Restrict or object to processing
