Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SAL Digital's website and services. SAL Digital is a trading name of SAL Digital Solutions Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), registered in England and Wales, company number 17464493. By instructing us, for example by approving a quote, paying an invoice or asking us to start work, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Services Provided

SAL Digital provides done-for-you digital services including, but not limited to: website design and hosting, Google Business Profile management, local SEO, automation (such as booking confirmations, reminders, missed-call text-back and follow-ups), review management, social media management, paid advertising management, AI chat assistants and AI receptionists. The scope of each engagement is agreed with you in writing before we start.

2. How Payment Works

We show you the work before you pay, for example a website preview, a Google profile plan or an automation running on a test booking. You pay when you approve it.
If you don't approve the work, you don't pay for it and we don't publish it.
Some projects need a deposit before work starts, for example larger builds or work where we buy something on your behalf such as a domain, software or ad spend. Any deposit, and whether it is refundable, is agreed in writing before we start.
One-off projects have a fixed price agreed in writing before we start, payable on approval.
Monthly services are billed monthly in advance from the date you approve the work, by card (via Stripe) or by bank transfer or standing order.
Any minimum term for monthly services is agreed in writing before we start. Without one, monthly services run month to month.
Third-party costs such as ad spend or paid software are non-refundable once spent.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel monthly services with 30 days' written notice, after any agreed minimum term has ended.
Cancellation must be sent to contact@saldigital.co or via WhatsApp.
Cancelling stops future billing after the notice period. Months already paid, and any ad spend already deployed, are non-refundable.

4. Refunds

Because you see and approve the work before paying, payments for approved work are non-refundable. Deposits are refundable only where we have agreed that in writing. This does not affect any rights you have under UK law.

5. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete business information
Respond to our requests for approval, content or clarification in a reasonable time
Pay approved work and monthly services on time
Not use our services for any illegal, fraudulent or harmful purpose
Ensure you have the right to use any images, logos or content you provide to us

6. Content You Provide

You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, everything you give us to publish, including photos, videos, logos, text and reviews.
If any photo or video shows your customers, staff or anyone else, it is your responsibility to get their consent for it to be published on your website, social media, Google Business Profile or advertising before you send it to us.
You agree to cover any claims, costs or losses that arise because content you supplied did not have the right permissions or consent.

7. Showcasing Our Work

We may show the work we do for you, such as screenshots, designs, videos, posts, before-and-after comparisons and a summary of results, together with your business name and logo, on our website, social media and marketing materials.
We may include a small "Website by SAL Digital" credit link in the footer of websites we build.
We never publish your confidential information or your customers' personal data as part of this.
If you would prefer us not to feature your work, tell us in writing before we start and we will respect that.

8. Our Responsibilities

We agree to:

Agree the scope, price and timeline with you before we start
Deliver the services we have agreed with you
Maintain your website hosting and domain registration where that is part of the service
Handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR
Provide reasonable support via WhatsApp and email during business hours

9. Ownership

Where we register a domain for you, it is registered in your name.
One-off projects: ownership of the website design and content passes to you once the project has been paid for in full.
Monthly services: ownership of your website design and content passes to you after 12 consecutive months of payment. Until then, we retain ownership of the code, designs and systems we create.
Our proprietary systems and tools (such as AI assistants, AI receptionists and automation templates) remain our intellectual property.
You grant us a licence to use your business name, logo and content solely to deliver our services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We do not guarantee specific results (for example the number of enquiries, bookings, sales or search rankings). Marketing outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

11. Termination by Us

We may end our services immediately if you:

Breach these Terms
Fail to pay approved work or monthly services after reminders
Use our services for illegal or fraudulent purposes
Behave abusively towards our team

In such cases, no refund will be provided.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will tell you about significant changes by email or WhatsApp. Continuing to use our services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
